WB’s Coffee House is home to the Sligo Oyster Experience which was established in 2018 by Aisling Kelly Hunter.
Aisling was first introduced to oysters when she met her now husband Glenn who is an oyster farmer. It was from here she developed her love of oysters and after almost four years in business with the café she developed Sligo Oyster Experience after seeing a niche in the market. As part of this experience you can visit the café and taste the freshest oysters straight from our farm, along with dishes like our oyster Po Boy Sandwich!
In 2020 Aisling expanded and created Oyster Farm Tours as part of the experience, offering people a chance to gain exclusive access to a working oyster farm to learn about the process of oyster farming while also enjoying an oyster tasting while taking in gorgeous scenes around you.
Come and join us in the café for an oyster tasting you won’t forget! We have the most delicious oysters which come direct from the farm so they are sure to hit with all who try. Along with natural oysters we also offer baked oysters which are a great introduction for anyone who is trying oysters for the first time along with our oyster Po Boy Sandwich, served on fresh bread with deep fried oysters, salad and Po Boy sauce, it tastes amazing!
